  • 23. What are the roles I can authorise my staff or myself?
    • For most agencies in EASY, the company may authorise their staff as a Preparer or an Approver.

A Preparer prepares the forms/returns/applications/objections and submit it to an Approver for review before submitting to the agency (for e.g. IRAS) accordingly.

A Preparer only has “View” privileges and can only fill up the online application form and “Save as Draft”. The Preparer can view or edit forms/returns/applications/objections prepared by other preparers within the organisation, but does not have the rights to submit directly to the agency. Once the forms are submitted to an Approver, the Preparer is not allowed to amend or view the submission.

An Approver has “View”, “Save as Draft” and “Submit” privileges. Hence the Approver can fill up and submit the online form and/or submit the online form that has been prepared by the Preparer.

The Preparer and Approver can be the same person.

  • 26. What is the information that a branch can access?
    • For large Training Organisations with branches, they can apply for profile for each branch either during the initial application or via the update organisation profile function.

Each approved branch will have its individual profile. Hence if an Approved Training Organisation has applied for WSQ organisation accreditation for 2 branches, the system will show 3 organisation profiles.

The relationship amongst the entities is as follows:

      - When a Training Organisation has 2 branches; branch A and branch B, branch A can edit the organization profile for branch A but not branch B.

      - A branch can only edit the courses submitted by it. In this example, branch A cannot edit the courses submitted by branch B or the Head office.
